  21.   1) Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups
  22.   2) 386 or higher processor
  23.   3) Mouse or other pointing device (recommended)
  24.   4) Color monitor - High SVGA resolution (recommended)
  25. * 5) VBRUN300.DLL - Microsoft Run-time library file
  26. * 6) THREED.VBX   - 3D Custom control 
  27.  
  28. * This program requires a copy of the files "VBRUN300.DLL"
  29. and "THREED.VBX". They should reside in your path and can
  30. usually be found in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If you
  31. do not have these files installed your computer, they  are
  32. widely available and can be downloaded from almost any
  33. bulletin board or from CompuServe.

  36. 2 - Installation
  37. -----------------------------------------------------------
  38. If you received this version of U-Convert-It on a floppy
  39. disk, insert the disk into a floppy drive. Then...
  40.    1) Launch Windows if it's not already running.
  41.    2) From the Windows Program Manager, select Run from the
  42.       File Menu.
  43.    3) Type 'A:SETUP' (no quotes) at the command line and 
  44.       press [ENTER].
  45.    4) Follow the instructions on the screen to enter the 
  46.       directory in which to install U-Convert-It.
  47.    5) Select the Continue button.
  48.    6) A dialog box will appear informing you when 
  49.       installation is complete.

  51. If you received this version of U-Convert-It in a ZIP file,
  52. extract the files to a blank floppy, then insert the
  53. disk into a floppy drive. Follow instructions 1 through 6
  54. shown above to complete the installation.

  59. The U-Convert-It v2.01 shareware package consists of the
  60. following files:

  66.   ORDER.TXT    ASCII form for ordering / registering

  84. Some files are distributed with an underscore character
  85. at the end of the filename.  The underscore is replaced
  86. with the appropriate character by the SETUP program.
  87. As an example... UCONVERT.EX_ will become UCONVERT.EXE.

  89. U-Convert-It is distributed as Shareware.  This means that
  90. users are encouraged, subject to restrictions described in
  91. the License Agreement, to share copies of this program with
  92. friends, associates and bulletin boards. Included on the
  93. installation disk is a copy of UCONVERT.ZIP for this
  94. purpose. You may freely copy and distribute this file as
  95. mentioned above. Alternately, if you downloaded this copy
  96. of U-Convert-It from an online service such as CompuServe
  97. or a bulletin board, that same file may also be freely
  98. distributed as stated above.

  107. For full documentation, including context sensitive help,
  108. press the F1 key at any time while running U-Convert-It.

  111. 5 - Upgrade Instructions
  112. -----------------------------------------------------------
  113. Follow the installation instructions above.  You can
  114. install this version of U-Convert-It to the same location
  115. as a previously installed copy of U-Convert-It. If you're
  116. already a registered user, you will not need to re-register
  117. the upgrade. U-Convert-It does it for you automatically!

  120. 6 - Shareware Information
  121. -----------------------------------------------------------
  122. U-Convert-It is a "shareware program" and is provided at no
  123. charge to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it 
  124. with your friends, but please do not give it away altered 
  125. or as part of another system.  The essence of
  126. "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer 
  127. users with quality software without high prices, and yet to
  128. provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop 
  129. new products. If you find this program useful and find that
  130. you are using U-Convert-It and continue to use U-Convert-It
  131. after a 30 day trial period, you must make a registration 
  132. payment of $15 to Fred Block as described in the 
  133. Copyright/License/Warranty Agreement file (LICENSE.TXT).
  134. The $15 registration fee will license one copy for use on
  135. any one computer at any one time. You must treat this
  136. software just like a book. An example is that this software
  137. may be used by any number of people and may be freely moved
  138. from one computer location to another, so long as there is
  139. no possibility of it being used at one location while it's
  140. being used at another. Just as a book cannot be read by two
  141. different persons at the same time. Commercial users of
  142. U-Convert-It must register and pay for their copies of
  143. U-Convert-It within 30 days of first use or their license
  144. is withdrawn. Site-License arrangements may be made by
  145. contacting Fred Block.
